Ketan Agarwal Murder: Siya Goyal Lured Fiance to Lohagad Fort Multiple Times, Even Called His Mother

Their plans included an opulent wedding ceremony in Udaipur, a palace in Jaipur reserved at a cost of 17 crores, and two private planes to transport guests. However, Ketan was unaware that his fiancée had conspired with her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, to end his life.
Red Flags Ignored
Before their planned trip to Bali for pre-wedding photoshoots, Siya secretly took Ketan’s passport and discarded it at a hotel they stayed in prior to heading to the airport. This act was the first warning sign that Ketan overlooked. Upon returning to Pune, Siya orchestrated a plan to divert him to Lohagad Fort, citing a desire to make up for the canceled Bali excursion.
Repeated Attempts at Luring
Siya first tried to entice Ketan to the fort on May 31. Two weeks later, she attempted again on June 14, pushing him toward the edge of the cliff but allowing him to escape when a tree intervened. She later claimed a snake was present at the location and that she had tried to save him from a bite. Despite the failed attempt, she persisted in luring Ketan back to the site with Chetan’s support.
The Fatal Push and Police Investigation
During the second encounter, Siya and Chetan collaborated to push Ketan into a 400-meter-deep gorge, resulting in his death. Initially, she informed authorities that he had fallen accidentally while taking photographs. However, Ketan’s family raised concerns, prompting the Lonawala Rural Police to explore the possibility of murder. They stated that Ketan had expressed reluctance to return to Lohagad after the June 14 incident, but Siya continued to pressure him to accompany her for her birthday celebration.
